Charlie Pinafore Dress
Since Sept. 2024, I had been interested in this Pinafore. The store explained the colors are brighter than the photo. In March 2025, I was able to purchase this dress in my size on sale. Amazing, as online was sold out. Some times when a kindness comes my way, I think of it as a bouquet from heaven. The dress has a substantial weight with almost a subtle herringbone pattern. The quality of the embroidery is finely done. The flower colors vary in hues of coral and the leaves are spring green. I have paired the Pinafore with a cotton coral blouse. In mid-April, we still have snow in Michigan. So, hope to wear my new Pinafore to the (real) Garden Club in May. I am very petite so purchased XXS which is a full-length dress on me. Will look cute with little heels.

This is too good to be true, but I'm wearing it, so it must be real! The fit is perfect, the length is just right, the color is charming and the embroidery is so cute! The quality is excellent, and even after all those accolades could not be happier with this purchase and look forward to more pinafore purchases from April Cornell.

The color is a beautiful soft green that looks slightly weathered. I love the embroidery floral details that add interest to the bodice and pockets. Medium weight fabric that is excellent quality.

CHARLIE PINAFORE DRESS
I have wanted this dress since the first time I saw it and when it went on sale it was sold out in my size. I checked back and it was back in stock so I ordered it for my own Christmas present. It is exactly how I imagined and the xs is a great fit, as I worried it would be too big. This is truly a quality crafted garment and I plan on wearing it many ways in all the seasons. There are more on my list now that I finally made the investment in such a beautiful dress.

My favorite so far!
I went on a shopping spree and was so excited to try this dress. I showed my spouse online who thought it was not great. But once on me, we all agreed it’s adorable!! I usually don’t wear things like this but will be wearing it often. Runs true to size, too.
