Estella Hostess Dress - Dark Teal

I have been wearing this dress occasionally since last fall and I still like it a lot. It is very comfortable and does not require readjustments throughout the day. It is slightly lower in the neckline than I want, so I turn the slip around backwards and wear it. The color matches perfectly and it provides coverage much as a camisole would. To launder, I wash it on gentle in a pillow case and take it out of the pillow case to dry on low heat in the dryer. It does not need ironing. It still looks new, and I've worn and washed it approximately six times. I would buy it again.

This is a beautiful dress. The fabric is substantial yet very soft. The snap in the v-neck is placed properly and doesn't pull at the fabric as some dresses do. Rich color. I have ordered size large for many years. The fit is consistent. 5 BIG stars.

I was so happy that I was able to snag this on sale after wanting it for months. April Cornell doesn’t make enough garments in jewel tones, in my opinion. The colors of this are just as nice in person as online. It comes with its own detached teal slip, which is super useful. I’m 5’3” and the sleeve length is awkward on me, but I don’t mind as I will simply shorten them to short sleeves (the sleeve hem is a simple rolled hem so altering the length will be easy). There’s a nice thin black binding around the neckline, so it will be simple to add a black camisole if I need greater modesty in the neckline.

I absolutely love this dress! It enhances curves and flows over any imperfections. My husband loves this dress, too, which surprised me.
