Holly Berry Pinafore Dress

I thought, with the name, that this might be too seasonal, but it is great for summer. Great fit, airy material, comfortable and huge pockets. I'm quite short (under 5') and thought I'd need to hem, but after a cold water wash it shrunk enough to sit at my ankles. A happy purchase!

I really love this dress, but it is too short in the bodice. Since the dress is quite long.(since I am quite short.) I will alter the length of the bodice below the straps to make it fit. That way the skirt will start below the breast line instead of right through the middle. It’s a terrific dress out of beautiful fabric.

The cut and fit is everything I hoped it would be. I adore the square neckline, the slouchy pockets, and how pinafores look with a romantic shirt underneath. Unfortunately, the fabric is coarse and loosely-woven so it snagged the second time I wore it. It won’t hold up to heavy wear. I’m disappointed.

I tried to like this dress. However, the pockets were just too much. It made my hip area look just awful and I wear a size XS. Cute top, lovely fabric, pocket design not good. This dress would be much better with either a regular pocket or a side seam pocket. I returned the dress.

I received more compliments on this than I have ever received in one day. It is comfortable and stayed unwrinkled.

Love the print but the pockets are huge and floppy. On me the top part does not come down under my bust.

This is the first time that I have purchased a AC pinafore. It fits very well and I love the practical everyday print. I like how each dress, although cut from the same basic pattern, that each dress is just a bit unique in its style. I like that the pockets are different, but on this pinafore they are not practical. I am afraid everything will fall out. I would suggest a pleat or some gathers in the center front of the pocket to draw it a little snugger to the body.

Love this sweet, comfy, soft jumper with big pockets. I wear it with my lace slips, lacey shirt, and cute Marty boots and crocheted socks. So fun and pretty.
