It's absolutely beautiful in every way! Charming is the word I'd use. Simply lovely.?

Jane's perfect dress!
Enjoy this simply but beautiful style from the Jane era. The color is a lovely shade of blue and the fabric of cotton feels great.

Beautiful
This dress is a lovely thick material, slightly course, but with color as pictured. I was concerned the size might be too large, but an XS for 5’2” 115 worked well. As with all April Cornell products, the dress falls low, to mt ankles. Not sure yet if I like that best, or will get it tailored, but I’ll be keeping the dress :).

Jane austen dress
In going to love this dress when it's colder. I enjoy wearing dresses in the winter and I'm always looking for ones that are pretty and warm. But, alas, I live alone and buttoning it was a challenge! The fabric is quality and as always from April Cornell, it was constructed professionally. I have been a customer for decades and will continue to order from April Cornell.

Jane Austen Dress
Overall I am pleased. I love the woven look of the fabric. Expect to need to iron. I found it to be a challenge to get the front ruffle to lay right. Looks perfect on the model! :) Good quality and comfortable. I would love to see them tighten up the neck a little, it gapes a little for me, so I pinned it tighter. :)

Jane Austin Dress
The dress is beautiful and well made. I ordered a size up S thinking it would have extra room for any shrinkage. Unfortunately a size S was a little snug for me in chest. I am returning.
