Provence Hostess Dress

I love the fabric of this dress. April's textile designs are simply adorable. I'm a bit busty and hippy, yet have a tiny waist and smaller shoulders. So a medium fits me best, and I have even purchased some small dresses based on the design. This dress would fit a a moderate bust and hips. Although I can wear it, it just isn't as roomy and forgiving as some of the other high waisted designs. It is adorable, and I purchased a ski skirt in the same fabric that I will even be wearing with some red cashmere sweaters this winter, and I'll still feel bright and happy! That is the thing about April Cornell designs. They're perfect for layering in every season. I'm sick of winter drabs and dulls! It's time to wear those bright happy colors in the winter months. This dress could easily have a cashmere cardigan or even a crewneck sweater thrown over it with a red pair of boots and how cute would that be!!

This dress is a pretty shape and such a nice color combination! I love the shape of the hostess dress, so I bought it in two color combinations. They're both so beautiful!

I love April C. dresses. They’re always well made, have special touches and are cool, comfortable cotton. I wasn’t sure about the red, not a red girl but it’s very pretty and is a pink/red and like the subtle aqua in the pattern. Bonus, got it on sale. I’d recommend.

I’m addicted to Hostess dresses! They are comfortable and flattering on this XL figure. I’d call the ground on this one closer to white than ecru, and the trim is red, although the print has the promised tones of pink and some mint green. The effect is fresh as a daisy, and the cotton is cool and soft.
