Lovely Skirt
Yet another lovely skirt from April Cornell. I like to he well dressed but I also like to be comfortable. This pull on skirt fulfills the brief and I get many compliments on the “ happy “ floral pattern. Depending on your choice of top this can go anywhere.

This is a gorgeous, flattering skirt. I am thin, but have an hourglass shape - I have to be so careful with elastic waist skirts, as they can easily make me look heavy in the hips with too much fabric gathering there. However, the fabric in this skirt is so light and airy that the elastic waist works! It provides a flowing silhouette without being bulky. The pattern provides a lovely splash of color without being gaudy. My only suggestion would be to wear a long slip, as it is a bit on the sheer side. For sizing reference, I am 5'7, 130 lbs, hourglass shape (a nice way of saying wider hips and shoulders - ha!) The XS fits quite nicely and comes to about 3 or 4 inches above my ankles. It does wear longer (as shown) if I stretch it lower, across my hips; however, sitting at the natural waist is more comfortable for me. :-)
