This artist's tunic is very pretty, but runs a little small.

    Lovely blouse

A great blouse. Well made and beautiful fabric. I’m 5’4” and it is too long for me. I took it to be hemmed. Also if you have a large chest you may want to size up.

The Artist Tunic - color is a problem

Posted by Viqui on Apr 20th 2025

I just recently received my purchase of this lovely 100% cotton tunic - the embroidery, the fit, the truly nice match for other April styles for leggings, pants and coverups is undeniably wonderful - BUT - This is the 3rd time now that I've purchased from the online catalog and can't help but notice the colors have arrived looking differently, maybe as a result off aesthetic publication photography choices/editing, or maybe the colors vary more than I'd expect due to the natural fabric dyes used in manufacturing. Both online and in the mail catalog, the colors for this tunic appear more yellow in the overall print but in fact the main pattern is more of a limeade green. Not what I was hoping for. The embroidered section in front is exactly what I expected, but the overall color pattern is just not up to the prettier yellow hues depicted. It's not the end of the world, but this is the 3rd time I've experienced a kind of 'buyer's remorse' just based on color choices. Another example would be the mushroom Snuggle long coat which is amazing and even reversible - but is a much much darker shade of blue that kind of camolflauges the actual Indigo mushroom print. Similar issue with one of the overalls I bought too. Don't get me wrong - these are still great quality and as beautiful as I've come to expect from April's seasonal designs. However, I now will sometimes call Customer Service before purchasing just to get the opinion of an Aoril Rep who can verify color choices with me before I buy. That has proven to be helpful, especially when I'm trying to match my other wardrobe pieces. So, this is just what I hope will be taken as a helpful observation.
