This is a statement piece you will not regret! The color is rich, to the red side of purple, i.e. plum. The embroidery is beautiful. I get my usual size and the fit is great over things. This color will enhance many many of your AC pieces. (others, too, no doubt, but I only wear April Cornell) I have both the past year's ones of these---the latte and the black and just love them. These are also very comfortable to wear. Sometimes you will put the Celebration jacket on over something you have and just be gobsmacked at the beauty.
