Bustline is Wrong for Me
I returned this dress because the under-bust seam did not hit me in even close to the right place. Seemed like a decent dress other than that!

Size
This dress runs extremely small. The color is nice and the look is nice and I was really looking forward to it. I have purchase six other dresses of the same size from April Cornell that all fit perfect and are even generous. This one reminds me like they mixed up the "girls" from the "ladies" labels at the factory.

Lovely Dress
This dress is wonderful. It is light and airy, simple and very comfortable. I do not usually like the garment washed look, but it really does make this dress better. It gives it a silky sheen and slight shimmer. It is an amazing dress for simple comfort. Lovely.

I love this.
It’s very like a favorite dress from Sundance that I worse until it was a shambles. The color with its subtle variations, the motion and drape of the fabric and its graceful shape makes it special. I have an April Cornell coat from years ago that is, itself, still beautiful and perfect this dress. I’m going to enjoy it all fall.

Surprisingly Sweet!
At first I overlooked this dress when looking at the fall collection as I most always wear floral, plaid or other "busy" prints (I love them as they remind me of the beautiful clothes my grandmother wore!). But came back to this dress because I like the lower price and it's a great fall color - warm brown. I'm so glad I did! This dress drapes well and has true long sleeves, which I prefer. I hung it up straight out of the washer (washed on delicate/cold), only smoothing it with my hands and it drip dried nicely - would need only minimal ironing or even none at all on busy days. The variegated colors of the fabric make it gorgeous. I do have to wear a half tee with it as the neckline is too low for me. But overall will be a great dress for knocking around in and walking the dogs during fall. And it's pretty enough to wear for nice occasions, too. I got a small (36C, 5'5", and 140 pounds).
