It’s very like a favorite dress from Sundance that I worse until it was a shambles. The color with its subtle variations, the motion and drape of the fabric and its graceful shape makes it special. I have an April Cornell coat from years ago that is, itself, still beautiful and perfect this dress. I’m going to enjoy it all fall.

Surprisingly Sweet!

At first I overlooked this dress when looking at the fall collection as I most always wear floral, plaid or other "busy" prints (I love them as they remind me of the beautiful clothes my grandmother wore!). But came back to this dress because I like the lower price and it's a great fall color - warm brown. I'm so glad I did! This dress drapes well and has true long sleeves, which I prefer. I hung it up straight out of the washer (washed on delicate/cold), only smoothing it with my hands and it drip dried nicely - would need only minimal ironing or even none at all on busy days. The variegated colors of the fabric make it gorgeous. I do have to wear a half tee with it as the neckline is too low for me. But overall will be a great dress for knocking around in and walking the dogs during fall. And it's pretty enough to wear for nice occasions, too. I got a small (36C, 5'5", and 140 pounds).
