Versatile dress that looks like linen
For many years, I have been in love with the “porch dress” from April Cornell. I have many! They fit me well, and I still wear them. This year, I was intrigued by the Coastal Stripe Dress, which is similar but different enough. I absolutely love it! It looks and feels like linen but washes beautifully, without being a sad wrinkled mess. The ruffled details on the bodice are feminine but not girlish. Its muted color, subtle stripe and quiet elegance also make it a very versatile dress. Lastly, it fits me perfectly; just like the porch dress and in the same size. I noticed some other dresses in this same style on April Cornell’s website and have just purchased them as well. Thank you, April Cornell, for designing dresses that are feminine, versatile and timeless.

I tried this on - the fabric is substantial , the sleeve and neckline ruffles are subtle, and the waist ties really enhance the flattering shape!
