Beautiful on a tall thin person
Positives - the color and fabric are lovely. It is soft and hangs nicely. Negatives- NO POCKETS! The thin elongated pleats do no favors for curvy women or even thin girls with larger chests. I should have paid more attention to the square neck (better for slim, non busty girls) and the no pockets. Sadly, this will be exchanged

Beautiful but no pockets
This dress is beautifully made, in a very pretty purple print on a pale periwinkle background. The stitching and details are lovely. Unfortunately the vertical pintucks end just below my belly and emphasize it unflatteringly; it would work better on a slimmer or taller person. And since every dress I've gotten from April Cornell has had pockets, I neglected to check carefully this time and was disappointed to find it has none. I can't go anywhere without pockets to hold a handkerchief and my wallet or phone. I had to exchange the dress for another one.

Lavender in Love
I'm so glad this dress didn't dissappear before I could order one. This style/pattern is my number 1 favorite out of all of April's dresses. I have a white one from last summer. They are SO beautiful on! The pleats and the inset lace make this dress stunning. It is rayon and I'm really not a fan of rayon, but this dress is too gorgeous to allow my high cotton demand to cause me to miss out. The square neckline is so flattering. Cornwall and Pride & Prejudice dresses are my two favorite dressy dresses this spring. It is long on me, I'm 5'2", I expect it. I can take pin tucks if I want it shorter. Yes, petites would be nice, but I know that's a whole new setup and big expense to make everything short. ;D
