Dream Nighty - Plum

I was expecting better. It's a very lightweight cotton, made in India. Pretty enough, just doesn't seem high quality.

I get the comments about the bust line being too high. For young or smaller chested women, though, this is the most elegant nightgown April has offered in a while. And - try a size larger! That will give you a little more length up top. I own 2 of these and plan to buy a couple more. This will be my winter nightie for years to come.

This gown is so pretty is could be worn as a dress. The fabric is soft and the fit is perfect. The V-neck with lace and the sleeves are lovely. I highly recommend it.

I love the color and am disappointed the fit didn’t work out. Now I know what the other reviewer meant: the way the top is cut goes across & over my boobs, not under them. I wear a 36C bra. I had the same problem with a Darjeeling dress I tried from April Cornell in 2024, so this confirms that this style of cut from April Cornell doesn’t work for me. I think it would work just fine for anyone who hasn’t been visited so frequently by the boob fairy.

This gown is pretty and the cotton fabric nice but the bust is cut too high for me so I returned it.

The color is so lovely and of course the fabric is perfect. Love the dyed to match cotton lace trim. Feminine and flowy. I’d give it 5 stars if the empire waist were just a bit lower. I have another gown with the same cut that I adore, but the seam on this one falls too high. I even replaced with a size up and it’s still just a little too high. It cuts at an uncomfortable spot. All that said, though, it’s so pretty I’ll keep it!
