Solid foundation piece, concern about shrinkage
First, I LOVE this design and the idea behind it; so often a dress needs a little something extra, and it's a delight to have a slip that isn't a neutral shade and adds some interest at the hem. I also love this color, which is a truly cool shade that sits comfortably between burgundy and plum. It is a lightweight woven cotton, and I'm concerned it might shrink when washed; the fit is fairly close in XXL so people between sizes might consider going up. But I love that this exists and I hope there will be more colors!

Lovely, but didn't quite work for me
This slip was lovely, but it didn't quite work for me for two reasons. The first was the neckline - I wanted to wear it with my Jane Austen dresses from April Cornell, but the V neck showed under the square neck of the dress. Secondly, I'm able to wear the XXL size in some April Cornell dresses because of the volume of the skirt, but the slimmer cut of this slip made the XXL to snug in the hips on my pear-shaped figure. Quality-wise, though, no complaints at all.
