crunchy is correct!
I agree with the previous reviewer. I love the style and fit of this gown, but the fabric is odd. I have washed it twice and added liquid softener to the wash, but it still retains this crispy, noisy quality. I am disappointed!

Pretty, good sleeve length, good neckline. I would call the fabric more crisp than soft, bordering on crunchy. Also fairly sheer. I prefer the very soft fabrics that AC uses on some nightgowns. I don’t see a way to know from the descriptions, however, what the fabric is like. This one is described as “soft”, but it is certainly not as soft as my favorite AC nightgowns. Hopefully it will soften with washing.
