Jane Austen Dress in Soft Teal
This is a pretty all-cotton dress that has a separate slip included of the same color. To me, this is a light green dress with a slight blue to it.

Jane Austen Dress in Light Teal
This dress is well-made in a beautiful soft teal in 100% cotton, but watch the sizing. I’m between a M and a L, & tried a size M, and the dress fit, but the accompanying slip was too snug, and going up to a L so the slip fits would be too large fitting in the dress. So I’m sending the size M back, with regret that it didn’t work out. But regardless, it’s a beautiful dress, and if you’re handy with a sewing machine, you could let out the slip.

blue dress
This dress is, in my eyes, more of a baby blue color than the soft green color that it looks like in the pictures. I love green but pastel blue isn’t real a color fabric that I like to wear, so I will be returning this dress. The Jane dresses are pretty though.

Jane Austen Dress - Soft Teal
This dress is lovely. It fits perfectly and is perfect for hot summer weather. The color is exactly as pictured, the front pleats are very flattering to the bust line and the empire waist hides the post menopausal belly nature has gifted me with. I highly recommend it!

I would wear this dress every day. Soft, comfortable, flattering, my favorite color. A color matched slip is included and It does need a slip. A real sweetheart of a dress.

Lovely Dress in Lovely Color
This dress is my first-ever purchase from April Cornell. Everything about it is perfect -- the style, the fabric, the color, the construction, and the soft, feminine details. At first I thought the slip (which is needed, as the outer dress is very lightweight) was too tight in the hips. I finally thought to adjust the straps. The slip is fitted, and once I tightened the straps everything "fell" into the right place. I mention this just to help anyone who might run into the same issue. For the record, I am 5" 3" and 128 pounds and a size small fits me perfectly.
