Runs very large
The fabric and print of this dress is beautiful and in person shows more vibrancy than in a picture. I have over 100 April Cornell dresses and I usually do not have to exchange for sizes, but I almost could have exchanged this two sizes smaller. I ended up exchanging it for a large instead of an extra large and tying the waist just a bit tighter. It is definitely supposed to be loose fitting, but the bodice was extremely large. The slit hits just above the knee and I had to be careful with grandchildren sliding up my lap. The style is not one of my favorites, but the fabric and print is. It is very pretty on.
