Beautiful dress
First let me say this I love all of April Cornell’s dresses. I have an ileostomy so wearing pants is near impossible. When I found April Cornell dresses I fell in love with them. This dress fits beautifully. It is true to size. The material has a sturdy yet airy feel. I will say the color is darker than the picture but still beautiful. The patchwork detailing is flattering to the body. I was worried that it would make me look bigger or shorter but it did the exact opposite. I love this dress.

Cute, shape enhancing
I tried this on and was surprised that it made me look less wide somehow. I didn’t initially notice from the photos, but the purple-pink rectangle underneath the bust is surrounded by the blocks of pattern on both sides and beneath, so it gives a petite apron effect. I also noticed that section tapers inward toward the upper bust seam, giving more of a hourglass shape. I really love the bust seam on this.
