Promise Nighty - Ecru

Soft, comfortable and a little heavier than my other AC nighties, this is wonderful for fall and winter here in Northern California. I’m changing into it every chance I get these days! Love the embroidery.

I like the soft, opaque fabric and pretty embroidery. Too many of AC’s nightgowns are see through. I like that the neckline isn’t too low. It’s hard to see in the pictures, but at the bottom third of the sleeves there is a gathered piece of fabric attached to the main sleeve. This is uncomfortably big and feels clumsy when wearing. Additionally, while I like the look of the placket, there are many seams there that are not sewn flat, and so are uncomfortable when worn without an undergarment. I cannot sleep comfortably in the nightgown for that reason.

Absolute favorite this year, very warm, soft fabric, washes very well and keeps the shape. The embroidered details are beautiful and the flounced, smocked sleeves are pretty and comfortable. The ecru-ivory fabric is unique, very soft and absorbent-similar to a cross between muslin, linen, and flannel combined. ?????

This gown is unusually beautiful. The fabric is napped and soft, as well as substantial. The sleeves are old fashioned and very feminine. The fit is fabulous and comfortable, and the embroidery is elegant. The whole gown delivers the ultimate luxury for beauty, comfort and femininity! You can’t miss with this gown. The color even hints of very pale yellow rather than just ecru. I love it!

Full-length sleeves with beautiful details, and the softest peached cotton that is lightweight but opaque and a little warmer for fall—this nighty is a winner in every way!
