Rose Dress
After buying entirely too many cheap dresses, I was fed up and my daughter told me that Chat GPT could help me figure out what to buy. So I told it about my favorite aspects of my favorite clothes throughout my life... and my complaints about the many ways that the things I've bought lately failed (sleeves too tight, waist too high or too big and looking like a tent, no pockets, cheap synthetic fabrics that make me melt in the Florida heat...) , and Mr. Petey (Chat G. Petey) recommended me to April Cornell, which I'd never even heard of. I was more than a little hesitant, but I was assured that this was a legitimate company with a great reputation and great products. And when I saw that the dresses matched my style AND my clothing quirks... I had to take a chance on it. I ordered two dresses and this was the first one I picked. OH MY GOODNESS!! I'm 5'8" and about 250 lbs... and very pear-shaped. I struggle with finding dresses that are flattering because I actually have a waist - and most plus sized clothes just hang like a tent on me. This does NOT!! It is absolutely PERFECT! I look like I lost 20 pounds!! The sleeves are roomy without being massive - so they don't emphasize my "bat wings," the back ties nip in the waist so perfectly... the soft, cottony fabric is so light and airy... but the very best part... is all these gorgeous little details... the embroidery... the tiny bit of matching lace... and of course the pOcKeTs!! It may take me a while to completely replace my entire wardrobe... but I'm going to do it. April Cornell... these dresses just earned you a customer for LIFE!!
