A blooming beauty, the Trellis Nighty in cotton charms with hand-guided embroidery, pintuck pleats, ruffle trims, mother-of-pearl buttons, and pockets.
100% Cotton
Floral embroidery and pintuck pleats on front
Side seam pockets
Mother-of-pearl buttons down bodice
Helen is 5'9" and is wearing a size small measuring 51"
The Trellis Nightly cotton gown is a very pale yellow, nice color but it’s not an ecru I have ever seen before. The cotton doesn’t seem as soft as the gowns once were.

I LOVED my Cornell gowns of the 25th Anniversary collection of 2000 and earlier when the fullness, both in front and back, came from the lovely tucks/dainty pleats that started from the seam that joined front to the back/ nape of neck/ then released at the level where there is now “gathering” of a body piece that has to be joined to a separate tucked and embroidered upper piece panel, and the plain, dull looking back. (A woman wants to look beautiful both coming and going!) However, I still LIKE AC’s gowns enough to purchase the gowns that are 100% cotton, have full length sleeves (3/4 length sleeves can be shorten on most gowns, but not lengthened… same applies to the dresses on tops) and because they ALWAYS have POCKETS ? !
