Victoriana Dress
A lovely fabric with delicate stitching touches reminiscent of the Edwardian Era. One might see a similar dress on one of the ladies from "Road to Avonlea" or boarding "Titanic." Comfortable Summer weight fabric, and the slip that comes with it is advantageous as well. I have quite a goodly number of April Cornell dresses but think this will become one of my very most favorites.

I have ordered many dresses from April Cornell over the last 2 to 3 years and this one is my favorite, hands down. The color is SO beautiful. The material is soft, light, and floaty. The details are perfect. It fits great in the shoulders but is just a tad longer than ideal. The matching slip is great. I love the comfort of the sleeves. This is a great design. I definitely recommend!

Lovely and perfect
The name of this dress is very appropriate--it has the feel of a late-Victorian lawn dress. The color is a perfectly balanced cool lavender, not too blue, and the fabric is light and comfortable. The insert lace and pleating are gorgeous. And there is a little shaping through the torso so it doesn't hang too much, the waist ties give some additional shaping, and the skirt drapes beautifully. Really happy with this purchase!
